Simpsons Chartered Accountants was established in the mid-1930s by the late Eric Rout. During World War II, Eric’s wife Pauline kept the practice running until his return while he served. Pauline then continued the practice after Erics passing.

In 1988, John Simpson took over from Pauline as principal. John led the firm until it was acquired by Ron Sasse in November 1995. After 26 years of dedicated service, Ron passed the reigns to Alice Beer, the current principal, in October 2021.

Today, we continue to uphold the values and commitment to excellence that have defined us for generations, offering personalised accounting and advisory services to businesses and individuals alike.
